Wanna' know a bit more about the man behind the lens? well here goes!

Guess it goes without saying that I really dig photography! It's been in me as long as I can remember. I still recall stealing my grandmothers old insta-matic as a child and just running off shooting away until the film was finished. Over time my love of photos slowly evolved and by high school I was enrolled in photography classes, learning the fundamentals of the darkroom and basics of composition and design. I spent the decade after high school honing my skills and teaching myself everything I could about photography... never without my trusty camera at my side. Eventually, I wanted more....I needed to dig deeper and face new challenges, which lead me into the Photography Program at Langara college in Vancouver BC. It's been an amazing journey at Langara and my love for photography has reached all new levels. It is here that I have had the amazing opportunity to refine my skills and really discover the endless opportunities ahead of me. I absolutely love knowing what I'm capable of doing with that tiny little machine in my hand and it drives me to create better work every day.

So, what's my style like? Well, just that....my style! I shoot everything from weddings to portraits to architecture, all incorporating a unique sense of modern style and design that is the signature of everything I do. I love all types and styles of photography, so I dabble in a little bit of everything. I strongly believe this kind of diversity keeps me on my toes, while keeping my work fresh and passion strong. I love experimenting with different techniques and processes, always looking for a fresh, stylish way to show off a subject. With a strong lust for visual arts, every photo I take becomes a canvas of potentially phenomenal art to me. If your looking for run of the mill Sears-style portraits where you pose 20 different ways in front of a tacky backdrop, then turn back and save us both some time! I`d much rather focus on capturing the real you, with real emotions creating something gorgeous and artistic. Just be real and I will do the rest!

All that said, I LOVE shooting weddings, love it. I find they really push my creative boundaries as I love taking something so traditional in its roots, and applying a fresh, modern aesthetic to it. And let's face it, there is really nothing quite like the raw emotions that are present at a wedding-it is truly an honor to capture it through my lens, giving something so meaningful back to every client. I absolutely adore what I do and am so happy I can use my passion and skills to give back something so important. At the end of the day, its all about capturing genuine moments, real people, real life....and making it look stunning! My clients share a love for the ART of photography and are looking for something bold, unique, and polished. This is what I aim to deliver.
